A young Orthodox priest, fed up with too much intolerance and hypocrisy at the Kyiv Pechery Lavra, decides to leave his service there. He finds for himself a new flock: gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people as well as those living with HIV/AIDS. However, the official Orthodox Church denies them in the right to be Christians and homophobic society compels them to hide their sexual orientation. What has to happen to make the Church embower LGBT believers?
Nadia Parfan is an award-winning writer-director. She studied social anthropology and urban studies and attended the Wajda Film School in Poland. Her feature documentary HEAT SINGERS was commissioned by NHK Japan and awarded Best Documentary by the Ukrainian Film Academy and the Ukrainian Film Critics’ Union (2019). Nadia is a member of the Ukrainian Film Academy, the Ukrainian Documentary Guild, and a Film Independent Fellow. Co-founder of the "86" International Festival of Film and Urbanism in Slavutych, the Takflix streaming platform, and the documentary film distributor 86PROKAT.

Mariia Stoianova is a Ukrainian documentary filmmaker and film editor. She holds a degree in Cultural Studies from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology from the Central European University. In 2018, she graduated from the Serhiy Bukovsky Film Program. In her filmmaking practice, Mariia Stoianova actively works with vernacular video, as well as state and private archives. Her short films have been screened at international film festivals such as Ji.hlava IDFF, DOK Leipzig, FIDMarseille, and many others. Her feature-length debut, FRAGMENTS OF ICE (2024), premiered at the Visions du Réel film festival and won several awards at Docudays UA.
