Vitaliy Kikot was born in 1989. He graduated from the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television with a degree in Television Directing. For a long time, he worked as a director of documentary series. He made his fiction film debut with A MAN WITH A CAMERA, and his short SAD PORTRAITS won the Grand Prix of the National Competition at KISFF 2021.
