David Pablos is a Mexican writer and director. His films have accumulated a total of 28 Ariel Award (Mexican Oscar) nominations and have taken home 14 wins, including Best Picture, Directing, Screenplay and Acting.His film THE CHOSEN ONES ( 2015) competed at the Cannes, San Sebastian, Zurich and Stockholm Festivals, among others. The film was also nominated for the Goya Award for Best Ibero-American Film and swept the Ariel Awards winning Best Film, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Original Screenplay and Acting.
