A group of Warsaw-based queer artists go about their everyday lives – they perform, spend time with friends, protest and offer each other support facing a hostile environment for LGBTQ+ communities in Poland.
Alex Baczyński-Jenkins works with choreography, performance and film. In his artistic practice, Alex Baczyński-Jenkins explores the structures and politics of desire through gesture, addressing the issues of queer feelings, corporeality and relationality. His works have been presented at: Venice Biennale, David Roberts Art Foundation, Whitechapel Gallery, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Chisenhale Gallery in London, Swiss Institute Contemporary Art in New York, among others. He is the co-founder of the queer feminist collective KEM in Warsaw.
